This advertisement is really old, it was created in 2001, but I thought it deserved some attention. Not all advertisements are from commercial companies, sometimes governments have campaigns to.
I think this campaign must have had a great impact on people. Skin cancer is a big problem and people underestimate the power of the sun. This is really dangerous and I think it’s good that there are instances that try to raise awareness of subjects like this.
This campaign was huge. A lot of these towels were given out. Its color and the shape on it (the same lines are drawn on crime scenes, so it depicts a dead person) will evoke interest and people will come closer and read the lines. It says: Please take care this summer. People will link this and realize it’s about the dangers of the sun.
